New Jersey “trap metal” band Concrete Dream have premiered their new music video recently. You can check out the video for their song “Catch 22” below. The song is from the band’s upcoming new EP Inverse which is due out on June 22nd via E-Train Records.
Vocalist Jeremiah Mayhem commented on the song:
“The story of ‘Catch 22‘ is about a hard-working guy whose whole world is crashing. We get so consumed with the losses in front of us, it destroys us. The video shows that your life is not defined by your job, or your girlfriend. It’s worth your life to live beyond those things. The catch 22 happens, everyone suffers, but we can survive.”
“All of the songs on the EP are about struggle. It is about a cycle in most people’s lives – we love something, we lose it, mess it up, or it leaves us, then we feel pain, and then we find a way to escape the pain. Then we repeat, again and again. This negative to positive cycle drives us forward, and we’re inspired by both the good and the bad.”
